4th - Collies
The first long hole, with a fairway running through a lovely glade and pretty green gradually coming into view.
Drive
Although over 450 yards it plays considerably shorter, so long as the drive is struck far enough to find the downhill part of the fairway.
Approach
In softer conditions a well struck iron will hold the green. If dry you may need to feed the approach in short, running the ball over the bank which protects the front of the green.
