Children's Swimming

Warren Active warmly welcomes children (under 16’s) to use the swimming pool, however to allow children the freedom to enjoy themselves and to give adult members the opportunity to relax around the pool without children, we operate a children’s swimming policy.

We would respectfully ask that members adhere to the policy and not ask staff to make exceptions. Any members/guests not adhering to the supervision policy will be asked to leave.

Children’s Swimming Times

Monday – Friday: 10.00 – 18.00
Saturday: 10.00 – 17.00
Sunday: 10.00 – 17.00
Bank Holidays: 10.00 – 17.00

Except where classes are taking place in the pool - please check timetable.

Age Restrictions

Children under 5 are not permitted to use the hot tub.

Children under 16 are not permitted to use the sauna or steam room.

Supervision Ratio

For the safety of all pool users we operate a supervision policy. All children under 16 must be supervised by a paying adult (over 18) at all times and must be in the water with the children unless otherwise stated.

Swimming Pool:

• 1 adult to 1 child under the age of 5 yrs.
• 1 adult to 2 children between the ages of 5 and 7 yrs.
• 1 adult to 3 children between the ages of 8 and 15 yrs. Supervising adult (over 18) of children between the ages of 8 and 15 yrs can be on poolside, if not in the water.

Children’s Pool:

• 1 adult to 3 children.

Please note, only 1 adult (over 18) is permitted to supervise the said number of children stated, in one of the above points. Once that adult has been allocated, they are not permitted to supervise more children. Another adult is required for further children and the same rule will apply.

Please be aware you are responsible for your own children.

Please be aware that there is no lifeguard on duty and all swimmers do so at their own risk.
